FAQs
How do I pay?
Payment is via credit card through Paypal, the safe way to shop without sharing your financial information. You will sign-in to Paypal at Checkout (if you have an account). If you don't have a Paypal account, you will securely enter your credit card information at Checkout. You will also have the option to have your information saved so you don't have to re-enter for future purchases.
Can I see my shipping charge before paying?
Yes! Your shipping charge appears as soon as you add an item to your cart. No need to follow link-after-link just to find out. We find that so annoying, don't you? And remember: jewelry, neckties, scent sampler candles and our fridge magnets always ship free!
Are there shipping discounts for multiple purchases?
You bet! Your shipping charge is based on the total weight of your order. So, as you add items to your cart, your shipping increases, but in smaller increments for super savings!
Will you ship to a different address for me?
As a fraud prevention measure, Paypal requires us to ship ONLY to your confirmed address. That is, either the address you have on file with Paypal or your credit card billing address (if you have no Paypal account). For your safety, we abide by this Paypal rule--sorry, no exceptions.
Why do you only ship within the United States?
Most of our items--vintage collectibles and candles--are both heavy and fragile, making international shipping risky and very expensive. In the near future, we plan to offer worldwide shipping for our vintage clothing and accessories.
Is your vintage clothing cleaned?
All washable items are freshly laundered and tissue-wrapped for shipping. Suits and sportcoats are dry cleaned. Neckties are freshened with Dryel. We sell flawless vintage clothing--meaning no stains, snags, holes or missing buttons. Occasionally an item is soooooo amazingly rare that we offer it with small flaws. If so, it will be clearly stated. Please understand, however, that all our clothing is pre-owned!
Are your "handmade" items really handmade by you?
In addition to being vintage freaks, we've also been candlemakers for quite a few years. Our vintage china soy candles started after a dream (literally) of candles in vintage teacups. Thanks to the arrival of natural soy wax, clean up is easy and your collectible remains perfect and perfectly usable after the candle is gone. See our "About Soy Candles" page for more information.
Haven't I seen you somewhere before?
We've been sharing vintage luv online for nine years. Some of our previous incarnations are toocoolcats, HeyNiceTie, Scentiments by Sandra and Vintage Daze. If you recognize any of those names, you know Sandra and John (us!). ReBop Shop, however, is the accumulation of all that delicious kitsch...in one swell place!
